The Brief
For Emirati Women’s Day, Ali & Sons wanted a gifting experience at Rixos Saadiyat that felt more personal than a fragrance simply handed to each guest. With 300 guests, the experience also needed to feel seamless, premium, and easy to engage with at scale.
Parfumery designed the activation around the Olfaction Bar: an interactive perfume experience that allowed guests to explore fragrance notes, discover their preferences, and create a personalised scent.
Discovery
Guests moved through the Olfaction Bar at their own pace, exploring different fragrance notes and finding combinations that suited their individual preferences. Rather than receiving a pre-selected gift, each guest became part of the fragrance experience.
Personalization
Once guests found a scent profile they connected with, their fragrance was personalised as part of the experience. Every bottle represented an individual choice, creating a more considered and memorable alternative to standard event gifting.

The Outcome
The activation gave Ali & Sons a refined gifting experience designed around discovery, personalization, and genuine guest participation. Bringing the Olfaction Bar into the event allowed fragrance to become part of the celebration rather than simply an item handed out at the end.
For Parfumery, it was another example of how a perfume activation can bring together luxury fragrance, interactive experiences, and personalized gifting for corporate and brand events in Dubai. It also showed how a carefully designed scent experience can scale without losing the personal character that makes it meaningful.
